Sale Price:$15.00 Original Price:$18.00

Composer, writer, and performer, Paris Hurley, offers a collection of prayers, scores, and spells from her creative practice toolkit, each including a supportive practice to guide your actions whenever you feel stuck, untethered, need a reminder of what's worked for you in the past, or are looking for something new.

A resource that will help you fortify, show up for, and sharpen your belief in your creative practice, 33 MESSAGES is a spiritual and practical permission slip to pick up your practice any time you need it.

Use it as a daily reader that cycles every 33 days. Use it bibliomancy style – intuiting your way to a page. Or use the table of contents to find the message that will most support wherever you're at in any given moment.

For artists and creative beings, alike! To your creative fire!

*** This little labor of love is self published and supported by word of mouth. Please consider sharing with a friend, artist, or creative one in your life! ***

No. 15: RETURNING
EXCERPT FROM 33 MESSAGES

Creative practice is a journey into myself, a journey to god, a journey to presence; a returning. I need warm-ups to slough away the blocks and come into presence. This process of returning is a practice, is the practice. I have not failed when I stray. I have not failed when I forget. I have not failed when I need to return.

I can always return.

To my breath.
To my body.
To sound.
To moving ink or color across a page.
To screaming.
To dancing.
To what has flowed through me before.
To the work of others.
To setting up an altar with what I need,
what I am grateful for, what I want to invite in, or am ready to receive.

I return to creative practice to return to myself.

SUPPORTIVE PRACTICE: Return to one thing today — one part of yourself, one practice, one action, one feeling, one relationship, one mountain, one location, one food or drink that has provided past nourishment.
